ARTIST STATEMENT
If I could reach out and touch even one single soul on this earth with my art, then I have succeeded in the my mission.
To reach the soul within, to share knowledge about the inner, to write in a visual way so as to trigger calmness and stillness in the mind; to travel towards something beyond fantasy, and to use the depth of the inner souls life- is my mission...
This is the reflection of my mind- from hour to hour, from day to day... and since we all are connected, we all are one, we all are part of the universal love; I believe my art has something universal to say- about kindness, compassion, peace, love and respect, to all the people of the world.
I love colours, and I play with them- like a child plays with a toy, and I let the creative expression within me reach out on the canvas like a mysterious language. I paint both in acrylic and oil, and in some paintings, I have used sand too.
I use pencils, knives and my fingers when I paint. Some of my paintings are very realistic, some others are abstract; and some are a mixture of both- the real world and the fantasy world of dreams.
To me art is meditation, and when I paint, it transports me into the deep stillness within...
Philosophy, writing and poetry are all part of my artistic expression, and these have been wonderful media to express my inner soul's journey of awakening.
Although I am self taught and I have been painting for about 18 years of my life, I have been fortunate to have worked closely with some really fabulous and artistic people.
Off and on, I participated in a few exhibitions in the countries that I lived in, but most of the time I chose to keep my work out of the public eye. It is only now that I decided to present my work to the world- and it is thus, that share my heart and my art with you.
